SnapDesk is the platform that gives you a clear overview of your IT systems. Interactions and dependencies of different systems are shown exactly.
Visualisation with online graphic editor
Nothing is more important than a clear visualisation of data so that you can quickly and precisely extract all important key data when needed. This will help you feel at home in complex IT systems. Use your experience and you will see that dull IT systems and their applications can be transformed into lively representations.
Visualise your IT environment with the graphic editor
The modern, browser-based graphic editor helps you to intuitively find a comprehensible representation for your environment. All common functions can be used comfortably. You don’t have to be a Picasso, but have the possibility to visualise the most important key data of your environment using descriptive elements. Design your graphics according to your wishes.
Create a graphics library by using templates for frequently used elements
The editor gives you access to a whole range of useful elements which, in combination with the corresponding measured value, turn into lively graphics. If you need recurring graphic elements, you can define them as templates to reuse them as often as you like – you create a library of frequently used graphic elements. This reduces the adaptation effort when fundamental changes are made for IT systems of a similar type. Imagine several functionally and structurally identical systems that you want to represent graphically in the same way: Create a template and use it several times – make the adjustment only once.
Recognise system faults immediately by means of the strong signals
Within SnapDesk, the signal colours will always catch your eye to signal status messages and operating errors. These are based on the usual signal effect, whereby the visualisation adapts to the respective measured value status. You thus have all focal points in view and can react appropriately and in a targeted manner.
The following signal colours are used in SnapDesk:
Green – there is no error
Yellow – indicates a current warning – the measured value has exceeded the warning threshold.
Red – signals a current error – the measured value has exceeded the error threshold
Orange – signals an error in the past
Grey – signals an outdated measured value
